We believe there is a spiritual battle going on for good and evil, light and darkness, so we battle for the Lord and celebrate the light of Christ each week with our students.
God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. (1 John 1: 5-7)
We are called to be people of light, and I want to share some of the beautiful ways House of Faith is celebrating the Light of God:
· We are meeting weekly with our students and celebrating the fellowship God has given us, His Word that declares truth, and the Good News of Jesus, the Light of the World, who came and died and rose again to save us from our sins.
· We are celebrating three years of Family Bible Study that meets Tuesday nights throughout the year. Over 60 adults have attended and are choosing to be encouraged and built up in the light of the Lord’s Word and truth!
· We are celebrating wonderful partners like you—those we are privileged to fellowship and join arms with for the advancement of God’s Kingdom through generous giving hearts, through selflessly serving as volunteers, mentors, or behind the scenes, and through praying fervently for our children, youth, and families and the ministry God wants to accomplish through House of Faith.
Join me in making this month a Celebration of the Light of God that overcomes the darkness. Jesus is truly in the life-changing business and seeing God’s people shine His light in this dark world is so encouraging. You are an integral part of joining us in shining His light to our community!
