“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

As we step into a new school year, House of Faith has been earnestly preparing to launch our weekly programs. Our kickoff week will be a clear presentation of the Gospel, and the Gospel will be woven throughout our lessons. We will give students the opportunity to ask Jesus to be their Savior if that have not already done so, and remind them that God gives us the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts when we become a follower of Christ.
We are excited to then begin our first unit, “Holy Spirit Is…”, as we teach through the book of Acts and discover who the Holy Spirit is and the role He plays in the lives of believers.
The Holy Spirit is not just someone we read about in the Bible—He is our Helper. He teaches us, guides us, reminds us of what Jesus has said, and empowers us to live out what God has called us to do. We will be teaching through the book of Acts, and share how the same Holy Spirit worked in the lives of the early believers as they boldly shared the Gospel, served others, and followed where God was leading them. We are so excited to minister to the children and youth we serve and help them understand the power of the Holy Spirit and what an incredible gift He is to us.
Our Backyard Bible Clubs will begin again on September 30th and October 1st, and our 321 Youth program begins October 5th. Please prayerfully join us in praying that our children and youth would not simply learn about the Holy Spirit, but recognize that He is with them and that they can depend on Him as they follow Jesus—in their homes, schools, friendships, and everyday lives.
