HOUSE OF FAITH |   OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE There are a number of ways to particapte financially in helping to continue the mission of "Taking JESUS to neighborhood children, youth and families". Some partners prefer to give a one time gift, others to give smaller amounts over an extended time. Whatever works best for you works best for us. General Giving Since our humble beginnings in one yard in the barrio of San Angelo, TX we have continued to operate primarily on gifts from people in the community. Seventy-five percent of all of our funding comes from individuals or their business. We are a not-for-profit charity recognized by the IRS to receive tax deductible gifts. Give online Planned Giving Gifts such as naming House of Faith as a beneficiary in your will, gift of life insurance that is no longer needed to provide for family members, and charitable lead trusts that pass principles to family members with little or no tax penalty are some of the options for planned giving. We also have set up an endowment fund where large gifts may be made to insure the future progress of this ministry for many years to come. Find out more about Planned Giving Hoop Shoot An annual yearly city-wide Basketball Free Throw contest where each Backyard Bible Club Elementary School location attempts to make over 1000 baskets in three 15 minute quarters. Businesses sponsor a certain amount per basket. The money raised goes toward funding overall Summer programming, including Sports Camps, Day Camps, Overnight Camps, Kids’ Connections, Internships and other special events. Business may sponsor in a variety of ways in support of this fundraising event. With this sponsorship comes the opportunity to attend Sports, Day and Overnight Camps, receive a sports ball from the camp they attend, meals, transportation, swimming, discipleship material, and a “T” shirt with the HOF logo and Summer theme. Click here to download a Summer Sponsorship form Give to Summer Time Sponsor a Child online Christmas Sponsorships Every Christmas we give gifts to 1,500 children and youth in the name of Jesus during huge Christmas parties. Individuals, businesses, civic groups and/or churches can sponsor one or more students for these gifts. On one year we may receive giftss and purchase like gifts for all the kids such as backpacks, blankets, sweaters, etc. On alternating years we take requests from the students about what gift ($20 limit) they are wishing for. These gift requests are then placed on a “House of Faith Gift Tag Display” and forwarded to churches, Sunday school classes, or businesses where sponsors may select a student/gift idea, purchase the gift, and then deliver it to our facility for us to get to the selected student.
