HOUSE OF FAITH | PROGRAMS It’s a well known fact that the most unsupervised hours in a young person’s day are the hours right after school. It is during these hours that we focus most of our efforts as we “go after” these kids in Jesus name. In keeping true to the original vision the Lord gave us, our programs break down into the areas of Children, Youth and Families.  Children The foundation of our whole approach to outreach starts with the children. They are the most impressionable and research shows that if we can reach them before their teen years there is a much better chance the Gospel will take root in their lives.  Youth Our youth programs are for the most part, weekly events that take place in our converted warehouse facility. These programs are similar to any other quality Church youth program with a strong urban look and feel but consist of primarily of unchurched youth.  Families Family outreach is primarily done via relationships that are built through consistent ministry to the kids. We also have a yearly Family Camp at the HEB Foundation Camp, Lakey, TX, where entire families come for a weekend of camping activities like fishing and hiking, campfires, music and teaching.  Summer During the summer we have Kids Connection for 3rd grade down to 4 year olds, Sports Camps and Overnight Camps for 4th through 8th grade, Day Camps are for 4th-6th grade, Junior Internships for Junior and Senior High, and Ministry Internships for young adult & college.  Special Operations Throughout the year we have various special events for varying age groups such as Christmas parties where each child or youth is provided a Christmas gift via sponsorship, concerts, Thanksgiving dinners, road trips and swim parties. |
